Ron O'Rourke
Director of Dining Services

Ron comes to Anna Maria College with extensive experience in campus and corporate dining. He was executive chef at Teacher's College, Columbia University, in New York City, where he was responsible for feeding more than 5,000 students and 300 faculty and staff on a daily basis. In addition, he managed an extensive gourmet catering program.

Ron also served as executive chef at ABC Studios in New York, where he oversaw three cafeterias and an executive dining room, and at Yonkers Raceway, an operation with multiple dining spaces, food courts and concessions. A member of the Chefs de Cuisine Association, Ron studied culinary arts at Sullivan County Community College.

Annina Verdini
Assistant Director of Dining Services

Annina Verdini, Assistant Food Service Director at Anna Maria College is no stranger to Massachusetts. Verdini received her Bachelors Degree in Hotel Restaurant Management/Culinary Management from Newbury College in Brookline. Upon graduation she was hired as a full-time cook before quickly moving into a supervisor position. She continued to grow her career and take on more managerial roles before being hired as the Catering Supervisor/Cook at Franklin Catering. In 2011, SAGE was fortunate enough to have Verdini join our team, assisting with both cooking and catering. Most recently, SAGE recognized her hard work, promoting her to Assistant Food Service Director at Anna Maria College.
