Sous Chef ~ Naples area!

SAGE Dining Services® is seeking an experienced Sous Chef for a beautiful private school in Naples, Florida

This position will start in the new school year in August! We cook from scratch in small batches to provide our communities with the freshest possible meals!

  • Full-time
  • Monday-Friday 5:30a.m.-2:00p.m.
  • Follows school calendar
  • Occasional events/overtime outside of the regular schedule

What you'll do:
  • Serve the community with a smile!
  • Assist with catering events.
  • Adhere to from-scratch recipes.
  • Inspire and motivate team members.
  • Delegate food prep and supervise team.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work space.
  • Follow and administer food safety protocols.
  • Record daily food temperatures and accurate production records.
  • Responsible for daily kitchen production - this is a hands on position!

What you need:
  • Substantial culinary knowledge and prior cooking experience in restaurants and/or catering required.
  • Knowledge of ethnic cuisines & food safety procedures.
  • Ability to read and write in English and use simple math.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills.
  • Reliable transportation required
  • ServSafe certification is a plus.
